After earning my Bachelor's degree from UT in creative writing and art, I taught Art and was the Director of Social and Emotional learning at, Paragon Prep, a private pre-k-8th school in Austin for 14 years. Now, I am grateful to be able to bring my years of experience in education and administration to Bastrop Montessori. My daughter, now 6, has attended since 18 months - she has learned and grown in so many ways. The Montessori method has also informed me, not only as a teacher, but as a parent. I strongly believe a Montessori education will help create self-motivated, creative thinking, creative, and community minded life-long learners that our planet need now, more than evert. Outside of school, I also work as a professional musician and artist. I also love spending time with my family, gardening and homesteading.
