WHAT IS BASTROP MONTESSORI DOING TO PROTECT THE COMMUNITY FROM COVID19?
Bastrop Montessori is committed to protecting our community from infection, and follows operating practices designed to protect our communities from COVID 19. We will continue to adapt our policies as the situation develops and new information becomes available.
Among our new operating practices are:
Limiting campus access to essential personnel only - this means predominantly students and staff
Conducting daily health screenings of all children and staff - anyone with virus symptoms will be denied admittance until they are well
Extending our outdoor play and work time, and utilizing outdoor classrooms
Reducing class sizes
Increasing hand-washing among the children and staff
Increasing daily campus cleaning and disinfecting
Our first commitment has always been the safety and well-being of our immediate community, and by extension, the well-being of the communities we touch. This is especially true now, with the threat of COVID19.
